Procedural Writing

Today for writing we were learning about following instructions (procedural writing).  We learned how to make paper planes by following and instructional video on youtube.  We had to make sure we followed each step carefully and correctly otherwise the plane would not fly.

"I found it hard to line it up together," - Jess
"I needed help to make my plane," - Tupou
"It was hard to fly them because we were going into the wind.  When we turned around they flew " - better," - Marion
"It was hard to fold the wings," - Mercedes

When we had finished making the paper plane we got to test our planes on the courts.   Hunter, Cleveland, Nicky, Bailee and Mrs Skelton-Morris' flew the the furthest in the races.

Check out of the clip below to watch the instructions.  We will also add a video of us throwing our planes.
