For buddy class this fortnight we were lucky enough to go over to the senior playground and spend some time exploring the playground. This was exciting and it was great to challenge our bodies to stretch higher, reach further and jump higher then we thought possible. We also had an organised game too which was lots of fun.

Mr Linden's Library
One Saturday morning Ashley went to Mr Linden's library. She found a book about fairies. Mr Linden said to pay for the book so she bought it. But Mr Linden said to her "Don't get that book." But it was too late. She snuggled up in bed that night and read the book, then fell asleep. When she fell asleep the fairies came out of the book! The flapping woke Ashley up. She screamed with fright. The fairies said to Ashley "Open the page, we want to get back home."

The House on Maple Street
It was 100 years ago, the start of World War 1 in the USA. Astronomers from NASA where trying to make a rocket to find other planets with life, so they replaced a wooden house on maple street. One week later, it had an engine and a room for the astronauts. Two weeks later it was ready, it was time... 3,2,1 BLAST OFF! The house rocket was off! It was the perfect lift off!

One spooky night on the first of July, I was walking down Maple Street when I saw Doctor Mystery's house. I saw steam as hot as lava and as white as snow coming from out of the bottom of his house. I thought it was going to explode, I was worried. There were rockets on the bottom of his house. When the house was lifting off it sounded like a heard of elephants. "Wow," I said! It was the perfect lift off on this spooky night.
